Give a 2 hour gift session to an elder you know...
An introduction or suggestion from a friend can mean the difference of isolation and depression for an elder or care giver of an elder you know. Helping to make a connection could make a huge difference in the lives of people you care about. Think about it. As an assistant, I come in to help everybody. I arrive as a blank slate, no baggage, no expectations. I arrive to do what I can to meet the needs of the elder and primary care giver. I can offer support to both parties give the primary care giver a respite and provide friendship and support to both.
It can be difficult for elders to accept help, let alone seek it out. To help with the transition, A friend or family member can purchase a 2 hour session for some one they know as a gift, no strings attached or high pressure sell. It will be a win win situation for all involved. I will network and get to know more people to share my services and the client will get to experience the benefit of the services I offer. AND the gift giver will have made a difference.

Looking for Adult children of elder people needing assistance. Please spread the word to co-workers and friends. Often times the suggestion from a friend starts the ball in motion to get the help adult children need, to share the work load of caring for aging parents. Often providing the name of someone trust worthy will break down the barriers to finding help. Send people to my site. I will happily visit to begin or continue the discussion on how I can assist.

I am a creative 62 year old woman blessed with with 2 daughters, 2 grandsons.
It took me 45 years to find this career, although I have cherished elder friends all my life.
I can cook, talk books, swing to big band and jazz, love gardens and all outdoors, enjoy animals (all kinds).
I sew and mend.
I am very handy, can use all matter of tools, small repairs and i paint.
